inspiration

Below are some of the things that inspire me:

Zen Habits

Around 2011 I discovered Leo Babauta’s Zen Habits. Inspired by his blog I started working on positive habits like: training, eating well, meditation and mindfulness. I loved it (and still do) but missed the practical tips on how to integrate these habits and mix them with all the technology that surrounds us in our modern lives.

When I am looking for inspiration I often turn to Medium. A great alternative for the ‘news’ articles I use to read.

Alan Watts

Alan Watts was a British philosopher who interpreted and popularised Eastern philosophy for a Western audience. I discovered his teachings in 2006. This particular audio file taught me a lot about meditation and in introduced me to the ‘Caigentan’ (Vegetable Roots Discourse). I still go back to it from time to time.
